Meet Jeanelle Parrott, LMT
I’m excited to be part of the team of integrative healers at Alpine Integrated Medicine, and to be here in Redmond practicing Massage. I was Born and Raised in Bothell, Washington, and The Catholic Seminary that is now home to Bastyr University was the church I attended growing up. Maybe that foreshadowed things to come, or maybe it was just a coincidence, and a wonderful place to be a kid.
When I chose to go into "Alternative Medicine" it was a spiritual and physical choice to grow in the natural world in order to heal myself and others. I became certified in Massage in 2003 from Ashmead College in Northgate, Seattle and started practicing right away. In 2010, I enrolled in the Masters of Oriental Medicine at World Medicine Institute in Oahu, Hawaii. I studied under Dr. Lilian Chang who is considered a national treasure in China as a Doctor and Teacher of Chinese Oriental Medicine. In 2017, I graduated with an Extended Masters in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine after participating for four years in a pilot PhD program in Taoist Medicine.
My hands have always been my tools I work with. Under the scope of Washington State Massage guidelines, I have integrated the principles of Taoist Chinese Medicine, QiKung, and Acupuncture therapy into my massage and therapy sessions. What I bring to the table in my sessions is Qi (Chi). I apply pressure into Qi centers of the body and unlock the body’s ability to heal itself. The muscular system can rapidly regenerate itself if given the right attention and healing tools.
My goal is to help my clients find those tools and achieve the health they deserve. Let me help you help yourself. Call or email the reception desk to set up a visit.
